Was this fixed? I didn’t notice any mention of it.

Oh dear

  • Restored the ‘Other’ section in Focus on the Tracks browser - yes, done

  • Improved scrolling experience on Roon mobile - still quite jerky, smooth at times but stutters quite bad at times still on iPhone 16 Pro Max

  • Added missing bit conversion step in Signal Path for certain situations - can you clarify

  • Various fixes to Listen Later functionality - still quite a few issues with LL, see the feedback thread for LL

  • ARC now displays the album’s added date on the Info tab - yes, done

  • Miscellaneous minor fixes and improvements - more details please

Roon fixes one thing and breaks another. Right when I switched from this forum to Roon on my iPad, I got presented with this screen.

Frozen remote screen again :man_facepalming:

I’ve had this also on iOS on my iPhone 16 Pro Max. It does on occasion refresh after a few moments but I have had to swipe up and away to force close the app.

Also doing it it on Android.

It has been a long time since I had this more than a few times per listening session. Let’s hope it won’t return with the same severity.

:crossed_fingers:

I’m now getting “an audio file is loading slowly” error

But when it is working the processing speed is 45x or higher?

Same error on multiple endpoints. Restarted Roon server.

This is a ‘smart playlist’, showing 444 of 442 tracks… one track is there three times.
Great update!

Edit: 15 minutes later, it’s normal again and showing 442 of 442 albums. I did not reboot or anything else.

Edit 2: when I edit the focus for my smart playlist and add and remove the genre ‘pop/rock’, the track number is wrong again: showing 445 of 442 now. After adding and removing ‘electronic’, the numbering is correct again: 442 of 442.

Another complaint about this update: for me, smart playlists with a time parameter (“show me albums that have not been played the last six months”) still don’t update automatically.
What’s the use of this if it doesn’t update? It would be nice if Roon came up with new functionality that actually works.
This bug was mentioned many weeks ago.

I have a really good feeling this feedback is being noticed - wink wink, nudge nudge

I’m in good spirits of things to come for all those who use and love Roon.

Had to revert back to the previous version (V2.0 build 1496) on my Macmini as I would frequently lose my Devialet Phantom audio zone and would show “an audio file is loading slowly” and network issues.

Now stable again after reverting.

Getting a “Waiting for Roon Server” error immediately after update to build 1510. Nucleus is powered on/connected, using an iPad for remote. I’ve restarted the Nucleus, double checked network connection, etc. Any ideas on how to resolve? Everything was working fine until the update on Friday.

@delia Have you updated the Roon app on your iPad?

Scrolling got worse with this update on my iPad 10th gen. :frowning:

It’s not great here at times on iPhone 16 Pro Max or my older iPad (which is old and I put it down to this)

I think we resolved by restarting the Nucleus and router until it resolved. iPad had been updated automatically. Thanks for following up.
