I am considering a Nucleus for my Roon core and want to use an external USB HD for the music files. I did not find anything in the Knowledge Base to indicate if it is better to use a bus powered external HD or one with a separate power supply. Also, I assume a traditional, spinning HD is ok for the music files vs. an SSD. Responses are appreciated.
And external USB spinning hard drive powered just via the USB works just fine for music storage on a ROCK or Nucleus.
