Calling Holo Spring Roon Users

I’m wanting to determine if Roon will see the Spring with preamp module’s volume control when connecting a Roon Ready streamer via USB. IOW, will I be able to select device volume in roon for the Spring? Or will I be forced to use the Roon DSP volume control?
