Cambridge MXN10 not showing as Roon Ready anymore

Hello,
until yesterday my Cambridge MXN10 was visible as a Roon Ready device on both my Mac and iPhone. Today, it no longer appears in the Settings > Audio section of Roon.
Here’s a summary of my current setup and the troubleshooting I’ve already performed:

  • Roon Core: MacBook (macOS Ventura)

  • Roon version: Latest available (auto-updated)

  • Streamer: Cambridge Audio MXN10 (Roon Ready certified)

  • Network: All devices connected to the same LAN (192.168.1.X range), via Wi-Fi and/or Ethernet

  • Router: [Insert brand and model here, es. FritzBox 7530]

  • Control devices: iPhone, same network, latest Roon app

  • :heavy_check_mark: What works:

  • AirPlay sees and streams to the MXN10 without issue.

  • Qobuz and Tidal play fine from their own apps via AirPlay.

  • I can ping the MXN10 from the Mac successfully (no packet loss).

  • The MXN10 is visible and working in the StreamMagic app.

  • The device was previously recognized and working in Roon as Roon Ready until yesterday.

:x: What doesn’t work:

  • The MXN10 no longer appears in Roon under “Roon Ready devices.”
  • Refreshing the Audio page in Roon does nothing.
  • Rebooting the MXN10, the router, the Mac, and the Roon Core does not help.
  • I tried renaming the RAATServer folder (to force regeneration) — no change.
  • Firewall on macOS has been temporarily disabled for testing.

 What I’m asking:

  • Could this be a Roon-side discovery issue?
  • Are there known recent changes that could affect the visibility of Roon Ready devices?
  • Any logs or diagnostics I can provide to help you help me?

Thanks in advance for your support!

Hello @Domenico_Di_Maria,

Welcome to our community.

I have gone ahead and enabled diagnostics mode for your account and what this action will do is next time your Roon Server is active, a set of logs will automatically be generated and uploaded to our servers for analysis.

In the meantime let’s verify that the Roon have access to the LAN devices.

Can you please navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network , and make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.
