After I’ve been using Fluency for a while, the thing that bugs me the most is that the translation of the genre module is not customizable.
Now I can only choose whether the genre name is translated or not by changing the language of the ui page.
Of course, the main thing is the inaccuracy of the translated content. The most obvious point is that the word “country” in the genre is translated as “国家” in Chinese, which means “state”. The correct translation is “乡村音乐”. Similar problems exist in many of the secondary genre categories, some of which are transliterated, and some of which are not even known to be translated. This affects the perception during use and makes it impossible for me to confirm which is which.
I don’t know if this is the case in other languages as well.
If the translation is more troublesome, my idea is to have the genre module display the original exact English without translation. Right now I can’t seem to do that. The only way to change it would be to change most of the ui to English.
