Hi, how we install Roon Server on Linux and Raspberry Pi, I have limited Linux knowledge.I installed cachyos on a machine and have a rpi 5 for experiment. There is no Roon linux client right?
You can’t install the Roon Linux Server on Raspberry Pi because the Linux Server is only available for Intel CPUs:
The instructions are here:
Indeed, no GUI client, but you can try running it under WINE:

Answer is actually yes because FEX and box64 exist! Although the performance would be awful on such a low end device.
I even ran the full Roon remote experience on aarch64 devices using Wine ARM64EC!
Well yeah, but nobody would want that
Except for crazy madlad like me :)
No, it really can’t. Apart from the architecture (and emulation is not the answer), the Raspberry Pi is not anywhere near the minimum requirements.
Whilst, the processor may be comparable to a third gen. i3 (circa. 2017), it does not have the equivalent i/o capabilities, and would bottleneck with memory and disk.
So, at this time, it is not a viable proposition.
I guess it was a tongue-in-cheek “you can install (as literally this was the question) but it won’t work” - they did add “Although the performance would be awful”
Yep! It was meant to be read more like it’d be technically possible but wouldn’t work lol. Unless it’s something more powerful like M2 Macs with Asahi which I use.
