Can I use an Android tablet with a Mac Mini?

First time poster - -

I am currently running Roon on a Mac Mini (with an external power supply).

I have an older iPad that will not run Roon Remote, so I need to buy a new Tablet. Will an Android tablet - with the Roon App - work with my Mac Mini, or do I need an iPad?

An android tablet with the appropriate specifications will work fine as a remote with any other OS back end, ie. Mac, PC or Linux.

I use an Samsung Tab S2, 9.7 inch. I think the devs used to use a Nexus 9, but I think they have been impressed with the iPad Pro lately.

Tab E Samsung as remote will do and Jide’s Remix Ultra Tab can be endpoint too.
