Gradually learning about Roon options to ensure best sound quality. I understand that the Exclusive Mode is the recommended option for high SQ. Once there, I select DSP Volume control as I prefer to control volume via the Roon remote.
Problem is that the DSP Volume is logarithmic and as such the slider has very little effect for 80% of the travel. As I gradually move the slider to the right and volume increases, it becomes difficult to control as small movement results into big volume level changes.
This is of course expected as the control is logarithmic but i find it difficult to control in practice. Is there a way to use DSP Volume in a linear fashion or something along those lines?
