Networking Gear & Setup Details

Motorola MG7540 router, Ethernet connected.

Connected Audio Devices

Denafrips Ares II DAC connected via USB.

Number of Tracks in Library

18,000

Description of Issue

TV has chromecast, will not show up as display option. TV is on same network, but is connected via WiFi. Could this be why?

Could be if wifi is a different network.

Note that you must not use guest network.

Temporarily turn off firewall. Turn on Multicast.

See if doing these help.
