I have a Wyred 4 Sound DAC-2v2SE. My server is running Euphony with Roon core (Linux based) with my music stored on the server’s drive. My DAC is connected via USB.
I used to play DSD files and my DAC would report them as such. For some reason Roon is converting them all to PCM now (screenshots attached). I have tried every setting I can think of, power cycled both the server and DAC and restarted my iPad.
The use of the DSP volume control requires DSD to be converted to PCM. Turn that off (or set volume to max) and you should get DSD.
