Can’t set up storage device to monitor a sooloos media core drive on rock core

Just switched from a Mac Mini that crushed hourly to a nuc as m roon core. Previously I was able to get the core to monitor my two sooloos storage units. It included the files in the total count and gave me access to those files in roon.

Now I can’t get the nuc based roon core to monitor those same devices that it will monitor when connected to the Mac mini core. It’s kind of frustrating.

It is advising that it can’t locate the host or invalid signal path depending on how I try to set it up.

Is there something in rock that impedes accessing outside the roon system?

Anyone have a similar experience or some suggestions. Fwiw, the nuc is a dramatic improvement otherwise.
