Can volume be linked or adjusted via windows system volume?

I typically control mt Roon outputs via surface pro 3 or nexus 10. having to adjust volume via a manual screen slider is a bit of an annoyance when there are hardware buttons for it.

Why wouldn’t you use “CTRL + Up-arrow” or “CTRL + Down-arrow” to change your volume from Roon ?

Surface pro 3 is better the hardware button tha use three onscreen button or keyboard. The same on my xexus 10.
