Describe the issue

Hi..... yes .... author is not able to access Roon on Mac Tahoe in Dark Mode and can only that is should say access the interface application on Default mode On default mode in appearance in settings all is fine but not when you switch to dark mode

Describe your network setup

Network setup does not really have to do with this problem but here is : Bell router and on WiFi connection also have the setup for Arc for remote per instructions on the Roon website for that

Hi @nbond37,

Thank you for the report. The team can’t reproduce this based on your report so we’ll need a little more information. Are you referring to Dark Mode (Settings → Setup → Theme → Dark) within Roon? Or are you referring to Dark Mode within your MacOS System Settings?

Can you please share a screenshot of the error you’re encountering?

Thanks!

Here is a screenshot of the settings application onmac tahoe with the appearance on either dark mode or default mode Note that : dark mode is the problem to start the Roon application ( can not give a screenshot of that since it does not start up at all ) Thank you

Good day @nbond37 !

Thanks for clarifying that moment.

Can you please describe to us in a bit more of details, how exactly does the app fail to start in dark mode ? If possible, we’d appreciate you recording the video and showing it to us. You can upload it here:

.

The other thing to check is to try to run the Roon via Rosetta, it is not helping to resolve all the Tahoe related problem in Roon, but it might be helpful with some of them until new release has come. Can you please try that ?

Looking forward to your reply!

Regards.

Hi … Not sure what you don’t understand in Dark Mode and Sometime in default made the app does not load this is very simple Solution : have reinstalled Roon and seems to have worked Thank you

Hello @nbond37,

Thank you for the update. Based on your description, it appears you’ve encountered a known issue affecting Roon startup on macOS Tahoe.

A fix for this problem has already been included in our Early Access (EA) build:
:link: Early Access: RoonServer 2.56 (Build 1566) and ARC 1.70 (Build 371)

If the issue reappears after reinstalling, you’re welcome to join the Early Access Program by following the instructions here:

Hi @nbond37,

We’ve noticed that your Roon devices are still on the main public Roon track (not Early Access). Please note that the fix isn’t available on the public build yet, although it will be released with the next Roon update.

If you are eager to test the fix for the Roon launch failure with Tahoe, please follow these instructions to migrate your RoonServer and Remotes to the Early Access branch:

We’re eager to answer any questions you might have and we’ll be on the lookout for a response. Thank you again for your patience!
