Description Of Issue

I am trying to add a network share of other music. This share is easily accessible from macs and pcs, smb://192.168.0.24/Music

The share is running on daphile a linux based music server.

However no variant of this works in roon, I have tried:

192.168.0.24/Music
SMB://192.168.0.24/Music
\192.168.0.24\Music

In all cases it gives me the wonderfully windowseque ‘There was an unexpected error, UnexpectedError’

Which is not terribly useful.

I suspect its perhaps to do with the Docker, but there again all other functions work perfectly so I dont know.

The share does not need credentials when accessing from other machines.

Hi @Gareth_Irwin,

If you try to temporarily host the Roon Core on another PC, are you able to access this share (so that we remove docker from the equation)?

Roon logs might provide more clues to the exact error, you can access them using these instructions.
