I found that link directly on TuneIn’s site by searching for the WQXR radio station. As @garym mentioned, there is something strange regarding that .pls but if you open it up in VLC and take the actual stream URL listed under Tools -> Media Information -> Location (http://stream.wqxr.org/wqxr), then that link works file for me as well.

As for your question regarding Roon Radio better integration, it’s on our Roadmap but I cannot comment on a timeline of when it will be released, it will only be released once it is ready to go.

Yeah, the entire user experience for radio has been redesigned from scratch. It’s nothing like what is there now. Yes to your two points–stations from the directory will be automatically updated as new streams appear (or are retired).
