Cannot connect to phone

I am trying to get my I phone to connect to Roon to use as a remote. It displays connecting and then connection failed. In settings on Roon, under General there is no switch to accept remote connections as is depicted in the users guide… Im puzzled…

Is your phone connected to the wifi network and has the same IP address scheme as the Roon Server? i.e., 192.168.1.X

success. the core was not connected to the wi fi network, only the lan… Thanks

This would imply the LAN and Wifi are using different addresses for each subnet.
