Description of Issue

For the past several months usually unable to connect to Roon via IOS. Same with ARC. Never had a problem before that. Have reinstalled everything and followed the set up guide. Bluesound app into the same system works fine. Posted this problem back in November 22 and no response from Roon Support. Just got the auto renewal charge and would like to get it running if I’m going to keep Roon for another year.

@Jay_Kleckner, can you confirm on your eero admin page that your eero network is seeing 1) your Roon Core iMac, 2) your iOS device, and 3) your Blueound Node 2? Is your iMac Core also connected via Ethernet cable to your eero system, or is it via WiFi?

Thanks for your response. Yes the eero is seeing the mac, ios and bluesound. The imac core is connected via wifi , and the bluesound is hard wired from the router/modem. Spectrum high speed internet. Speedtest to imac 85 mbs.

Can you list the IP addresses of the iMac Core, the Node 2, and the iPhone/iPad? I doubt there are two separate networks on your eero, but want to confirm. Also, does your Core see your Node 2 as a Roon endpoint? You state that your iOS devices cannot see the Core, but what about the Node?

Hey @Jay_Kleckner,

Ben with the support team here, thanks for writing in and apologies for the delay!

A few things to test out initially:

  1. Try hardwiring your core device directly to your router
  2. Check to see if your iOS device and Mac core are on the same local network subnet
  3. Test out running Roon Server on your Mac:
