I’m having the same issue. It’s been over a week of back and forth working with support to only have one response per day. I can’t figure this issue out at all. I’ll let you know if I’m able to find a solution. Good luck!
The most common problem with MacOS is the built-in network security. Navigate to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network and ensure Roon has local network permission granted.
If this doesn’t help, please try disabling any VPNs on the Mac, and relying only on the ethernet interface (turn off WiFi, if possible).
