Cannot log in from Roon app

Continuing the discussion from Login failed due to network error:

I am getting this same error trying to sign in using the Roon app on my Win7 machine. I have working internet, just fine, but Roon keeps telling me “Network error: Please check your internet connection.” Not very helpful.
