Cannot open the roon 1.7 on MacOs High Sierra 10.13.6

Description Of Issue

Cannot open the roon. When i open the roon, it will closes in about three seconds.(no pop - up window)

Hi @CHUN_HEI_TUNG,

Do you have any backups of your database? I suggest we try installing Roon fresh to see if this will help:

  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder

Hi @CHUN_HEI_TUNG,

Thanks for giving that a try. Can you please see if Roon writes any logs under ~Library/Roon/Logs?
I’d like to get your report over to our QA team for further feedback, but if Roon outputs any logs that may be helpful as well.

No Roon’s folder in Library. Cannot find logs file.

Hi @CHUN_HEI_TUNG,

Thanks for confirming. Is there any change in behavior if you reboot your PC? Does that allow Roon to start? You can also try clearing out a cache file if the reboot does not help, I have sent instructions via private message.
