Cannot sync with ARC

Roon Core Machine

Apple iMac 2017 running Ventura 13.2.1
Apple Car Play

Although it has worked a couple of times I cannot get ARC to play properly on CarPlay. It will play my downloaded library, but not the streaming content.
I’ve tried quitting ROON on my IMac (the core) and re-starting. I also have ARC on my iPad.

When I start ARC on the iPad it shows me the Mac is online but when I press Connect it goes into ‘Syncing with Roon Core for the first time’ and just goes on and on and on . . . never finishes.

On CarPlay all I get is a very helpful message saying ‘Something has gone wrong’ !
Signal strength varies from 1 bar on 3G to 4 bars on 4G - makes no difference - still won’t work.
Iphone 12.

Not sure what to try . . .

Thanks for your message. Can you please confirm if you tried to delete the ARC app from your mobile devices and have done a fresh reinstall? Do you have any issues with using the regular Roon app? How is your Roon Core connected to your network?

What is the model/manufacturer of your networking gear?

Does ARC work properly when on your WiFi network?
