Description of Issue

I want to transfer my music files to the internal storage of the new Roon Nucleus. Based on the instructions, I have to open settings-storage the +Add Folder. Since I am using Mac and want to copy Apple Music files I am instructed to open Finder-Macintosh HD-users-name-music then copy this pathway in the storage page. However, I do not know where to paste the pathway.
(see first picture) Furthermore, I am instructed to click this time +New Folder (see second picture) which I cannot locate. is there a step I am missing here? Is there a better way to transfer the files? Any suggestion?

You are approaching this from the wrong device.

Open the Roon UI and Finder on the same desktop. In Finder, open the local folder with your music. Next, drag and drop folders to the Roon app.

Alternatively, you can open the Nucleus file share from within macOS.

These options are described in the following help guide.

Thank you for the quick response. I am not familiar with Roon yet, But where in Roon should I drag the folders? at the home page? at settings-storage?Thanks.

It doesn’t matter. Simply drag a folder to the app, let go, and it will copy across. Try one artist at a time first, and copy in batches.

Thank you mjw
