Description of Issue

my Roon core was on a mini and the hard drive failed. have a new mini now, but when I try to install a new core, get a message saying I’m already signed in and need to turn off the core. can’t access that mini anymore.

You can deactivate the old core from the new core. It doesn’t need to be running. It’s done in the Roon cloud.

can’t install the new core cause it says my old one is running

Tell Roon to deactivate your old Roon core. There should be some ICONs or back arrows, etc. to click on.

Hey @colin_brophy,

Ben here with the support team, I wanted to check in on this thread to see if you’re still running into issues connecting to your core? After taking a look at your account, I see you’ve been able to connect recently.

I’ll be monitoring this thread for your reply :+1:

It’s fine now, but don’t like having to install extra 3rd party software to solve the issue.
