Can't access processing speed

Using the Signal Path, I should be able to see a “Processing Speed” metric that allows me to judge whether the DSP that I’ve applied is within the CPU’s ability to stream.

I see no such metric on my screen.

I’m MOST eager to use this tool, because it seems that when I enable DSP, my sound quality drops. If I need a faster host machine, I need to know. But I don’t want to make that expense if CPU speed is not the cause of this problem.

So my questions are:

  1. Why do I not get the Processing Speed data? (And having paid for a LIFETIME Roon membership, the answer had BETTER not be “because you’re using a Mac!”)

  2. What other factors need to be checked to ensure the highest sound quality while using Roon’s DSP?

That metric is only shown if the speed drops below 100x.
If you’re not seeing it, then your processing speed is fine.
