Can't add Qobuz playlists to Roon library (ref#V13BGH)

Just started with Roon, and so far really like it! However one question I have:

When in the Roon app and selecting music in Qobuz, I can add an album or individual song to My Library. The song, album and artist them appear in Albums, Artists and Tracks under my library. But this only seems to work for individual songs or albums.

When trying to add a Qobuz playlist (all artists and songs in that playlist) to My Library, the Add to Library function is greyed out. I would really like to have the playlists I have in Qobuz and My Library in Roon to have the same songs/artists. Amy suggestion on how to do that?

Use Copy to create the Playlist in your Roon Library. Then you can edit it there.

Could you please try selecting the tracks you’d like to add, and then clicking the three-dot menu at the top of the screen?

You should see an option to add the tracks from there.

That works, however for a large playlist this is a bit of a hassle. Noticed you can only add 88 tracks at the time, selecting more tracks greys out the option to add to library,

I suspect that at least one of your selected tracks has already been added to your library.

If you select multiple tracks in that playlist, if any of those tracks are already in your library, then the “Add to playlist” for that multiple track selection will be greyed out - because at least one of the tracks is already in your library.

Here, for example, is a larger selection than just 88 tracks that can be added to my library - and none of the selected tracks exist in my library, so the Add to library option works…

However, this doesn’t allow you to save the playlist as an album.

If you’re still having issues, please try the following:

  • Stop Roon Server from running in the [Web UI]( https://kb.roonlabs.com/RoonOS_web )
  • [Find and open your RoonServer database]( https://kb.roonlabs.com/Database_Location )
  • Navigate to RoonServer/Cache
  • Move the contents of the /Cache folder elsewhere, like your desktop.
  • Try restarting Roon Server via the WebUI and verify if the issue still occurs
