Can't backup to USB drive [resolved]

Tried to backup Roon database to external USB drive but it failed with a message “unauthorized”. Backup to internal SS drive worked, but there is little space and I want to configure scheduled backups to the external USB.

Core = Roon Server 1.3x193x64 bit on headless 2009 MacMini running 10.11.6 El Capitan
Music is stored on a Synology NAS

Any help appreciated.

Nevermind. I figured it out. Changed Mac permissions/ownership setting on the drive share.
