Description of Issue

Hi I’m trying to add Kerala Dusts new Album Violet Drive.

I can play it but when I click add it just spins constantly until I come out of that page. I’ve added it as a favourite in Qobuz with no issues. I can add other albums?

Heya. I’ve tried adding that album to my library and it adds just fine here.

Try rebooting your core.

Check, if album already was added. If this is the case in my setup, I get also an endless spinning wheel.

Hi Simon. If you have added in Qobuz it may well already be in your library. And if that is the case and you try to add again it does put your system into a spin as @Stefan_Mauron described above.

This has been an issue for well over 12 months and I’m not aware if it has ever been fixed.

Best way to check is go to your albums, use focus to search for that album and if it already there it will show you.

Maybe not an “issue” as such as really it can’t add it cos it’s already there.
And tbh it’s been that way as long as I can remember, certainly well over 12 months.

But…I agree it should tell you it’s already in your library instead of just sitting there spinning it’s cogs with the majority apart from us enlightened few not having a clue as to why.

Try signing out of Qobuz inside of Roon then reboot Core then sign back into Qobuz inside Roon.
Yes a pain but sometimes on certain occasions with album adding it can just get stuck, no I can’t tell you why.
Been there, done it too many times myself.
