Can't find server upon reboot...But it WAS my server 20 minutes ago!

I rebooted my iMac (3.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 2017 running Ventura) for other reasons. After an otherwise normal power-up, Roon has forgotten that it’s running on my core/server and I’m nervous about doing a fresh setup - worried I’ll lose my tags and metadata, etc. I’m stuck! Any suggestions? I do use an NAD streaming amp for playback - it’s is on the same wi-fi network, but I feel like this is not related.

is the admin page from your core reachable by the Mac?

I had this same problem after a reboot a while back. On your Mac, go to Applications and right-click on the Roon icon, and then click Show package contents. A window should open and find RoonServer and double click to open it.

This worked for me, but you might have to do it after every reboot. Don’t worry about your data. It’s still intact.

Or have the server as an item in the Menu Bar.

Oh my gosh that did it! How odd. I was today years old when I learned there’s a right click menu on applications too. Though I probably shouldn’t admit that. Thank you! CH
