Can't find Steal Away album under artist

I’ve been a Roon user for over a year now, and appreciate all it has to offer. But:

I was searching ‘Charlie Haden’ and one of my favorite albums of his, Steal Away, did not show up, even though it is in my (local, Synology NAS) library. I tried ‘Hank Jones’ to no avail. I searched ‘Steal Away’ and got the Qobuz version. The only way I seemed able to access my copy was to filter my albums with ‘Haden’ (I name albums by primary artist or composer first), and of course it was there.

It seems, therefore, that this isn’t represented in Roon’s db, or I am missing something. I’m happy to be enlightened either way!

Hello @Robert_Gross , that doesn’t seem right. Can you post a couple of screenshots of your search results and your Charlie Haden album please?

When you searched for Charlie H did you get other albums of his in your library?
Is your copy of Steal Away the primary version?

Under ‘Charlie Haden’ the images show the albums in my library, and ‘appearances’ in my library. In neither place does Steal Away show up.

Thanks. Can you post a screenshot of your Steal Away album please? Has it been identified by Roon?

Thanks for the details, @Robert_Gross — As BrianW suggested, can you show a screenshot of this album when you’re able to reach it? We can take a look and see if anything looks off.

strange first hit on a search string “Steal Away” – on Tidal (no Qobuz)? Not in my local library

Did you try re-syncing the NAS , Roon often has funnies with NAS’s

As Mike notes, this is what Roon delivers on searching the title. (I get my Qobuz account, as I don’t have a Tidal account.) Screen shots show that on searching the title, my copy shows up; of course, what I end up doing is listing all albums and sorting by ‘Haden’ – which gets me there faster. Odd, tho, that it doesn’t appear in Haden or Jones searches – it should.
