Guys I had the Chromecast working but no longer. I can cast YouTube easily to my Nvidia shield bit no more roon. Can someone advise?
I have no display option and no option under the volume control anymore.
Very annoying.

I just checked my shield and it still works. So the feature shouldn’t be gone.
Did you try rebooting everything?
Does the shield still show up in settings/audio?
Any changes or updates to any devices or network?

No it doesn’t. Strange. As you say might be network settings but I don’t remember changing anything. I’ll take another look. Thanks

I have a new android device not sure if that is the issue bit the Chromecast isn’t working with roon. Cant see anything on displays or audio/setup ?

No, i don’t think so.
Mine shows up under "other network devices " and says " via chromecast streaming ".
All good ! Reboot of Roon and turned off the VPN. I think the roon reboot was the issue. It’s now discovered it. Thanks again
