· Roon says I have a server working but I can't identify where it is --- which computer on my network it is on. I just want to log into Roon and use it instead of Tidal directly.\

· I have a home wifi network that works for everything else. I have all Mac equipment. I have three Mac computers on this network. All laptops. I know the open Roon server is not on the MacBook Air, so it's on one of my two MacBook pros. When I have tried to log onto Roon on the two MacBook pros I get the same message that a Roon server is already open somewhere on my network. I do have external drives attached to the network.
The two open servers we see in diagnostics are hosted on machines named "…MBP-2” and “…MBP-5” respectively.
On whichever machine you don’t want to host RoonServer, you should see RoonServer open in the Menu Bar or in the list of activities under Applications → Utilities → Activity Monitor. Close the background process and also close the Roon app, if it’s open.
I assume you have a Roon Backup if you migrated your library and database between machines at some point? If so, then it’s safe to also fully delete the RoonServer instance off whichever machine you don’t want the server on.
Just checking in on this. Were you able to close the extra Roon Server instance on the machine you do not want hosting it, and, if you have a backup, remove the full RoonServer folder from that machine’s database location while leaving the Roon folder in place? Let us know what you found, thanks.
