Problem solved (This is a duplicate post).

Update your Synology to 7.2 or 7.3, it will work fine.

I have my Synology hooked up to a USB DAC so I don’t want to upgrade to 7.x

I’m curious. Is there a known issue with USB DAC and 7.x? I think I’ve heard people having success with that?

@Twista_XP & @Zhang_Minxiang I’ve found some people can’t upgrade because the device is too old. If you use the docker-compose approach it seems to download the image just fine. I’m trying to get my hands on a synology from someone in my local community to better understand the UI workflow.

There is a manual update option for old devices like mine (DS918+). I did it manually.

They can download the firmware from Synology official website.
