I got a new computer and had to enter my login info on the Roon server. I mistakenly used an old Roon email from a previous account instead of my current subscription email and I get the error message that my subscription has expired. I haven’t found a way to change the wrong email.
Do I have to delete the Roon application and redownload the app?
No…I can’t get that far…I just have a screen that prompts me to renew my subscription…I can go to the internet page and change my username to the correct one but the APP on my Mac is stuck on the wrong one
Oh ok. I think this should be dealt with by official support, so you should open a proper support request by going to Support ( ← click here) and clicking Get Help
First off, make sure you terminate the session from the old email address at the bottom of the Roon accounts page. Then sign out.
From there, close out of RoonServer completely on the new computer. If you have a reliable Backup that you were using to migrate the database, you can safely just locate and delete the RoonServer folder on the new computer (there might be two if you installed overlapping databases).
From there, just install Roon and follow the prompts to set up a new server with the correct email address.
Glad the library came back. A single Roon app is expected on a Mac: Roon Server is built into the Roon app, so there is no separate Roon Server app to look for.
If the audio problem returns, please start a new thread with the details and we will pick it up from there.
