Jul 21, 2026, 2:18 PM EDT Hi Niek,
Thank you for your reply to Tidal Support.
Thanks for your patience while we took a closer look. From what we can see, this issue seems to be connected to something outside Tidal. We recommend reaching out to the Roon manufacture support for the best next steps.
If anything else comes up with your Tidal account, we’re always here to help!
Thank you,
Alison Tidal Support

In follow-up to my provious mail, I've completed all suggested steps:
- logged out and restarted Roon Core
- cleared the local Tidal cache/authentication tokens entirely
- Tried several DNS's
- and confirmed my Roon software is up to date (2.64). The issue persists.
Additionally, I can independently reproduce this without Roon at all: navigating directly to https://login.tidal.com in a browser shows 'Error - Something went wrong. Please try again. If the error persists, contact customer support.' (please see below) Meanwhile, https://tidal.com/login works fine. This indicates an issue with your OAuth login subdomain (login.tidal.com) specifically, affecting third-party integrations like Roon.
Please let me know how you suggest to take this further.
Thanks in advance and with kind regards,
Niek.
Describe your network setup
Using KPN modem (Box 12) with a direct LAN connection
sudo systemctl start roonserver
sudo systemctl status roonserver
Also I have removed the App from my iPhone and reinstalled it again.
Unfortunately this hasn’t helped to resolve the problem in any way.
I get the strong impression that this isn’t a Roon-specific issue - I can reproduce the exact same error by navigating directly to https://login.tidal.com in a plain web browser, completely outside of Roon. Is there a way to escalate this isssue to the Tidal engineering team responsible for the OAuth/login subdomain, because I can’t imagine I’m the only one with this issue.?
Just to confirm: when you login to the Tidal web service usng OAuth and it fails, are you using your iPhone’s cellular data connection, or your home WiFI?
If this is happening with the Tidal native service completely outside of the Roon browser, then it’s highly unlikely that we’ll be able to reach a solution here. We don’t have any jurisdiction over that infrastructure and no ability to bypass it. That said, we’ll do what we can to assist and equip you to escalate to Tidal directly.
Thanks for your message. I have (and can reproduce) this issue with any LAN/WAN/WiFi/5G connection and any browser. Also after cleaning the cache and reloading the page to https://login.tidal.com
Hence my thought that other Tidal-service users will have a similar issue.
