Can't see and choose local audio source (iPhone, iPad, MacBook) after update

Hi, after running the last update to Roon 2.5, I can’t see the local audio device anymore to choose from and listen from. I’m using an iMac as Roon Core and used to play Roon also on my iPhone, iPad and MacBook, using the same WiFi network. I was very happy with this feature. I can’t do this anymore. What happened? Did this option get lost in the update? Why?? Or is there some other way to do as I did before?

For a next step in troubleshooting your issue, we’ve seen reports of device discovery difficulties around the newer Mac Sequoia update - macOS Sequoia (version 15), has tighter (and more obfuscated) network security settings than preceding MacOS versions. Can you please navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network, and make sure Roon is allowed.

If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.

We’ve seen reports of the latest Sequoia version 15.4 improve such issues, if you’re considering updating to the latest version.

I hope this helps! :+1:

Yes, that did the trick, works as it did before. I’m happy! Thanx!
