Description of Issue

Cant see anything on Screen need some help!!

Assuming you are running windows update your graphics driver from the manufacturer site.

Can you describe your monitor setup. Roon graphics can have difficulty with G-Sync, or HDR settings. If any applies to you try turning off those settings.

hello, I got a latest version of window 11 pro, with all latest version update of both nvidia gpu and studio driver. My monitor is BenQ EW3270U with 0 setting. I did reinstall roon many times; its all turns out like that.

Windows never includes the latest 3rd party drivers. When it comes to graphics cards, you need to download the drivers directly from the manufacturers.

I had updated the gpu driver from nvidia gforce experience
Version:

Studio driver: 531.61
Game Ready Driver: 531.79

Not sure anything else I can try because roon still performe like that.

Hey @Po-Yuan_Yu,

Ben with the support team here, thanks for writing in and welcome to the community! If possible, can you please provide more information around your network setup?

With that, I’d be curious to see how Roon server may run on your PC. Do you have other devices you may be able to run as Roon remotes? Again just as a temporary test to see if you’re able to gain access another way.

Here is more info on Roon server:

I’ll be on standby for your reply. :+1:

No, I was just adviced by friends that Roon is super good. My internet set up is just a regular moden and router; nothing special.

I just want to test if roon work, im going to buy a NAS for roon core.

Hey @Po-Yuan_Yu,

I’d suggest giving my above reply a test prior to anything else. If you have a smart phone, you can download the Roon remote app and control Roon server from your windows PC.

If you’d rather not test this out, then lets refresh your current Roon database as a next step:

  • Create a Backup of your current database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
  • Verify if the issue persists on a fresh database before restoring the backup

Thanks!
