Hi @michael_brulc, welcome back to the community.

Qobuz sign-in issues usually come down to either an account-side login problem or a network/authentication hang inside Roon, so we need a little more detail to sort out which direction to go.

To understand what’s happening, could you tell us:

  • What exactly happens when you try to sign in to Qobuz in Roon, do you see an error message, a spinner, or does the login window just close?
  • Are you able to sign in with the exact same credentials in the native Qobuz app or web app?
  • Has Qobuz ever signed in successfully on this setup, or is this the first time you’ve tried?
  • Is the Roon Server connected to the Netgear router by Ethernet, or is it on WiFi, and are there any switches or mesh nodes in between?

Once we know that, we can narrow this down and give you the right next steps.

can’t sign in in the roon app can sign in on my lap top but not on the roon app.Roon core is on a sonictransporterI7 gen 4, a momentary power outage caused this problem been solid otherwise.

FWIW my logins to Qobuz and Nugs have been disconnecting. Last time in mid song a few moments ago from Qobuz. . Logging back in was normal but I have seen this a few times over the last week.

Right after I posted this ROON/Qobuz stopped platting and reported “Song not available in Qobuz” - I pressed play and it began again.

Hello @michael_brulc

Good news: your Qobuz account is already signed in and working. Nothing is broken.

Your server synced your Qobuz library today at 4:02 PM, and your Roon library currently holds 15,937 tracks and 1,072 albums, which matches what Qobuz reports for your account exactly. It has been syncing normally all day.

The failures were on 11 August only. You tried to sign in fifteen times that afternoon, and Qobuz itself rejected every one with its own message, Invalid username/email and password combination. The power outage shows in the logs at 11:33 AM that day, so our best guess is that Qobuz looked disconnected while your network was still coming back, and the details entered during those attempts did not match. It recovered on its own afterwards.

So please open Roon and check whether you can browse and play your Qobuz albums. If you can, there is nothing further to do here.

If it ever does ask you to sign in again: Qobuz wants the email address on your account rather than a username, and if you normally reach Qobuz on your laptop with “Sign in with Google” or “Sign in with Apple”, your account may have no password at all. Roon can only use an email and password, so you would need to set one on the Qobuz website first.

Hi @michael_brulc,

It’s been some time and we wanted to touch base on this. Were you able to open Roon and confirm that your Qobuz albums browse and play normally now, and if Roon asks you to sign in again, can you try the email address on the Qobuz account instead of a username? If your Qobuz login is normally handled through Google or Apple on the web, you may need to set a password on Qobuz first, since Roon can only use email and password. Let us know what you see, and we can take it from there.
