I have been using the Cary Audio DMS-700 DAC/Streamer with Roon for a few months. It is fully Roon certified and can decode all folds of MQA from Tidal. I have it connected via ethernet from my router and it is not connected directly to a computer. The Cary App on my iPhone or iPad works great and allows easy access to both services libraries as well as serving from my personal music files.
I have used several DAC’s and a couple of streamers. The DMS-700 has been my favorite so far for both sound quality and user convenience. I don’t see a lot of Cary Audio discussion. It is worth looking into if you are considering a move. I am very satisfied with what it offers and with its seamless integration with Roon and my system.
