CasaTunes Ethernet Connection possible?

I use a CasaTunes server hardwired to my speakers for whole house audio.
Recently I have been using Roon on my NAS for my content.
It is great that Roon identified my CasaTunes zones immediately and I have been able to enjoy the benefit of Roon without significant hardware modification.
My issue is that it appears that Roon connects to CasaTunes via Airplay or something similar. Meaning it is a wifi or bluetooth or some other wireless connection between my Roon Server and my CasaTunes server. This results in occasional to frequent interruptions of playback presumably due to buffering or wireless transmission issues. My NAS and CasaTunes server live in the same rack and are both connected via ethernet cables to the same gigabit ethernet switch. Is there a configuration that would allow my Roon Server to stream to my CasaTunes zones via ethernet instead of wirelessly?

Cheers,
JtL

I would look in Settings/Audio and see if it shows up there. Also, does your model have WiFi? Might try turning off WiFi and seeing if it will still connect through just the ethernet as a test.
I took a look at their site and I don’t see any mention of Roon or of it being Roon tested or Roon ready.
You might send them a support request and ask if they are or plan to be? Or if they have a solution for you?
