4 Plume Wifi’sDescription Of Issue
@support I have cast a number of Albums to a Google Nest Mini 2, and on each occasion the music/casting will stop. Roon will remember where it left off (see image) but I cannot determine why the casting stopped.
The last time I was listening to ‘The Flamming Lips’, ‘Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell’ when casting stopped at 2:59 into the song, some 30 mins into the album.
Thanks for reaching out and sending those logs! Let me get the logs over to our technical team for review, once I have their feedback, I’ll reach out once more, thanks!
We are going to enable some deeper diagnostics tools for your account which will hopefully provide better diagnostics info related to this issue. We have just enabled this diagnostics tool, can I please ask that you:
Exit out of Roon and start it again if currently running
Reproduce this issue once more
Note the exact local time + date + track casting stops at
Exit out of Roon right after the issue occurs
Send us a new manual log set by using these instructions within a few minutes after the issue occurs
Note: This logging mode is very detailed, so please be sure to exit Roon and send the logs folder before starting Roon again (as logs get automatically overwritten by new data).
Once I have the new log set (with the deeper diagnostics), I can ask QA to review. Thanks!
The music stopped at 7:19pm GMT; you can see the music I was playing and when it stopped from the shots attached here.
The behaviour I saw was that in the Roon app on iOS and the core, the Google Nest Mini (Kitchen) dropped off the list of those speakers reachable and then pop back up again. Almost within seconds.
Thanks for sending these logs + timestamps over! Let me get this info over to QA for review and once I have their completed report, we’ll reach out again, thanks!
