CD ripping software

Purchased immediately, I have been using dbpoweramp (commercial use version) for my ripping service for many years

They do indeed offer a trial - a fully functioning 21 day one.

I’ll jump on dBPower amp bandwagon. I like it so much I donated more than the asking. A few quirks, defaults to last name, first name for instance. Took me a while to figure out there was a setting for that. Also the 3 tag resources they use provide the cd release date. I like to see the recorded date so sometimes manual work there.

On a Mac, use the free, XLD!

I’ve always liked JRiver Media Center for ripping and tagging. It has a bunch of features you won’t need if you’re on board the Roon train, but for things like batch editing of fields I haven’t found anything more user friendly. Being a classical lover I have also had success with MusiCHI, but it is anything but user friendly.
