Your second question about how to move files into Roon’s watched folder is something I can’t answer without knowing anything about what your options are for file sharing or copying in your situation.
I maintain an iTunes/Music library and have its media folder (located on my NAS) watched by Roon. None of that answers your question, however my setup requires no work at all for Roon to see whatever I manipulate in iTunes/Music.
