CD ROM - to NUC / ROCK

Hi, newby here - just ordered a NUC to download ROCK onto.

Currently using a Mac mini, so first thing is, I have to move to the NUC as a new core, is this easy?

Secondly, can you add a CD ROM to the NUC to burn music into the roon library?
