I bought a Bluesound PULSE FLEX connected speaker (2025 model), but from the ROON interface, it is indicated that the manufacturer must obtain certification from Roon.
However, the manufacturer's response states that it is up to Roon to do the process. Here is the message from Bluesound:
Hi Letroublon Thank you for contacting The Bluesound Support Crew. Unfortunately, at this time, the PULSE FLEX (2025) is not ROON Ready.
As it sits, we have passed all certifications for ROON. We are simply waiting for ROON to enable the feature within their platform.
Thank you for your patience. Kind Regards, Kellie S. The Bluesound Support Crew

Thank you for the clarification and for sharing Bluesound’s response.
To clarify how this works: Roon Ready certification is a joint process between Roon and the manufacturer. Once the manufacturer submits the device and firmware for certification, our team validates it and enables support in Roon, in the order devices enter the certification queue.
At the moment, our certification team is operating with limited availability due to the holiday period. When the team returns and the certification queue reaches the PULSE FLEX (2025), the device will automatically appear as Roon Ready in the Roon interface — no action will be required on your side.
I’ve also notified the team that you’re interested in seeing this certification completed as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience, and we appreciate your understanding.
Once your RoonServer downloads the updated device strings from our servers, this device will update to reflect the current certification status for Roon Ready. Two full reboots will ensure the RoonServer machine has taken the update.
We’ll mark @vadim’s post as the solution for posterity, but if anything else comes up, simply reach out in a new support requestto reactivate the conversation. Thank you!
