Changing sampling rate

Hello.

Whenever roon changes the from one sampling rate to another, it is not able to handle it. I am using the Yamaha CD-S2100 AS my dac… What is happening is as folowing… ex… when there is a change from 16/44 to 24/96 roon starts plaging but on the display on my dac it still show 16/44. And the music is not posible to listen to, it is just a lot of noice…

Now, this is no problem when plaging with audionirvananplus, so this is a problem when using roon.

Now, I have tried to set the resync time under DSP engine to Max without this helping. The dac has even been changed with a new one without this doing any good either.

Why is not this handles by my roon?

What is happening and what can I do to fix this problem?

Looks like you got re-sync delay issue between PC and the DAC, try setting ‘re-sync delay’ in Roon, try experimenting the delay in seconds until the problem goes away.
