I’ll confess I’ve been using (abusing?) co-pilot for a few months now. Saves a lot of boilerplate code at first and is getting good at reproducing my coding style now. I figure if you can’t use assistance productively in 5 years you’ll be left behind. It’s a logical extension of IDE help based on compiler messages to some degree. There are a lot of ethical considerations in the FOSS domain but this isn’t going away.
