Choose output based on IP

I have two Holo Red players on my network. HQPlayer will only show one in the output selection and I have no way of knowing which one it is. When I view the HQPlayer logs I can see it is identifying both and it sees their IP address before playback. But the UI will not identify more than one Holo Red. This happens when the Holo Red is set to the same output (digital) which is how I have both Holo Reds setup.

I need to be able to select the Holo Red based on IP, or at least acknowledge that there are two different devices on the network.

I have tried to create a profile, but this still is not a good solution. The menu only exists to File - Create Profile or File - Delete Profile. There is no way to load a profile in the desktop software. I have also tried to setup a “Combo” output but only one Holo Red shows up in the selection menu.

I don’t know if Red OS allows you to configure name for the NAA, but if not, I recommend switching to my NAA OS, it will automatically generate unique name for each NAA. For multiple NAA’s to work, each much have unique name, since they are recognized by their name, IP address doesn’t matter.

With NAA OS, on fist boot a name will be created, so leave the Red on for a minute or so, the red light will stop blinking. Then power it off and after 10 seconds, power it back on again. Now it will have unique name.

Technically it is enough to do this on of the devices if you want to leave the other one with original Red OS. Or you can just switch both to NAA OS.
