Chromecast device (LG TV) not visible in Roon settings (ref#Q5RBP7)

If you set up the static IP, it is possible that you router will / has already assigned a device to the same IP address and there will be an IP conflict. The best way would be set up a “Reserved IP” in your router settings, a vast majority of routers have this option and will ensure that there is no IPs overlapping.

Will try that. Just fyi, i hardwired my lg tv with ethernet and the tv is still not detected

To confirm, did you hardwire it directly to the same switch or primary router as your Roon Server in the above setting?
