I need a cheap WiFi based full rez endpoint solution. I’ve seen some reference to chromecast implementation. Will that be on the next major release? Time frame? Any other WiFi solutions?
How about a HiFiBerry with an inexpensive bridge?

While I am a bit skeptical about WiFi and HiFi audio, This recommendation will work just fine.

CCA apparently supports fixed Ethernet via a USB/Ethernet accessory. There are google and 3rd party alternates. the google one is $15/£15.
