So, this occurs fairly frequently, but I’ll use the below screenshots to illustrate my point.
I have an album that contains Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances and Moments Musicaux. On the album page every work has being recognized by Roon. Next to the work it shows that I have 10 recordings of the work. However, when I click on the 3 Books Icon the recording doesn’t appear in my the list of the recordings of this work in my library.
Note, I’m only showing the screenshot for Symphonic Dances because it takes quite some time to make multiple screenshots, then screenshots of screenshots, and then marking the final one up.
Thanks. It seems to be one of the cases where nothing works. This is quite frustrating because one of the key features of Roon, for me, is to be able to find things quickly in my rather large library.
Wow, that helped. Now, it’s there. And this is even better, because a lot of recordings for a lot of works, especially solo repertoire, are not recorded in full. Someone might record a few etudes from Chopin’s 12 Etudes, Opus 10. This is a great discovery!
I warn you not to trust this half baked and unreliable setting. Too many complete classical recordings are just missed when this setting is on. Also, the setting applies to your whole library. not to a specific composition. In my case, I make a rule to always set it to off.
